Photographer's dream-come-true, Grateful

Hi Everyone,
I left Japan in my early 20s to explore the world as a PADI-certified scuba diving instructor, teaching and leading groups across the breathtaking islands of Polynesia and South Asia. My journey eventually brought me to Maui, Hawaii, where I made my home for over 25 years. It was there, surrounded by natural beauty and the warm spirit of Aloha, that I discovered my passion for photography. The cultural similarities between Japan and Hawaii, combined with the welcoming community, made it easy for me to feel at home.
Through my travels and work, I’ve had the privilege of meeting people from all walks of life and immersing myself in a rich tapestry of cultures. Interestingly, living abroad deepened my connection to my Japanese heritage. Being far from home helped me rediscover the beauty and meaning of my roots—something I once overlooked.
Now, back in Japan, I’m thrilled to bring my journey full circle. Whether it’s capturing moments through photography or helping visitors uncover Japan’s quiet wonders, I aim to create meaningful experiences that inspire a sense of discovery and connection.
Thank you for being here, and I look forward to sharing this journey with you.
